Identifying quality journals for publication is very important for research scholars and faculty members nationwide. Identifying quality journals is not easy in a world where multiple types of journals exist. The presence of predatory journals is so intense and they claim to be indexed by Scopus and have an Impact Factor. Many authors happened to submit manuscripts to predatory journals.
Publishing in reputed journals brings a reputation not only to the authors but also to the institutions they belong. Each article in a reputed journal will influence the institutional ranking and accreditation as these agencies collect data from Scopus and Web of Science.
This course will give users the essential skill to identify quality journals based on the Cite Score of Scopus, the Impact Factor of Web of Science, and other services like Google Scholar Metrics.
